Calvin "Emmett" Finley of 15 Sparks Ave., Ware Shoals, SC passed away October 6, 1977, at Self Memorial Hospital. He is the husband of Clara Hammett Finley.
Emmett was born and lived on Sparks Ave. in Ware Shoals, SC all of his life. He was the son of Sallie "Felicia" Emerson Finley and the late Emmett "Bud" Finley.
Emmett worked as a textile pantograph engraver with the Ware Shoals Engraving Co. and Riegel Textile in the Finishing Mill until his death. He was a member of Riegel Quarter Century Club. Member of Kings Chapel Methodist Church. He was a Mason, and a member of the Ware Shoals Lodge #306 A.F.M.
Surviving are his wife of the home, Clara Hammett Finley; and children: Charles Emmett Finley [Barbara] of Donalds, Earle Michael Finley, Lewis Welborn Finley [Beth] amd David Eugene Finley all of Ware Shoals; brother: James E. Finley [Rosie], West Columbia; sisters: Inez "Nezzie" Finley Pitts Shull [Norman], West Columbia; Mary Finley Hill [John D.], Lake Murray, Leesville, SC.
