FLINT - Services for Mrs. Heather Lynn Whitehead Wright, age 28, of Flint, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thurs-day, April 9, 2009, in the First Baptist Church Winona with Bro. Tony Watson officiating. Burial will follow in the Harris Creek Cemetery with services under the direction of Caudle-Rutledge Funeral Directors in Lindale. Mrs. Wright died Sunday, April 5, 2009, in a Tyler hospital. She was born Aug. 23, 1980, in Tyler to Steven Lynn and Starla Kim Dobbs Whitehead, and was a lifelong resident of Smith County. Mrs. Wright grew up in the First Baptist Church Winona and was a member of Friendly Baptist Church in Tyler. She worked for Dixie Elementary School as a first-grade teacher, active in G.A.s and was a Tyler Jaycees First Lady.

Mrs. Wright is survived by her husband, Anthony Wright of Flint; stepchildren, Hannah and Caleb Wright of New Chapel Hill; parents, Steven and Starla Whitehead of Winona; sister, Haley Whitehead of Houston; grandparents, Dewel and Lois Dobbs and L.C. and Bonnie Whitehead, all of Winona; aunts and uncles, Ronnie and Shawn Pilcher of Winona and Larry and Kay Fite of Whitehouse; and by cousins, Lathan and Laney Pilcher of Winona and Chris and Keven Fite of Whitehouse.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Caudle-Rutledge Funeral Home in Lindale.
