First Sgt. John A. RICHARDSON, 50, former Rochester resident, died at Walter Reed hospital in Washington, D.C., this morning. Final rites are pending at the Zimmerman Brothers funeral home.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Zimmerman Brothers funeral home for First Sgt. John A. RICHARDSON, 50, who died of multiple carcinoma in Walter Reed General hospital in Washington, D.C., at 9 a.m. Wednesday. He had been a patient one month.
The Rev. Graham MARSH will conduct full military rites and burial will be in the Rochester I.O.O.F. cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Saturday.
Sgt. Richardson lived in the Rochester area for 20 years prior to 30 years service in the Army. His home was at 1015 Audubon street.
Born Sept. 14, 1914 in Newcastle township, he was the son of Elmer and Ina Bell CARITHERS RICHARDSON. He was a member of the first Christian church and the American Legion here.
Surviving are two brothers, George RICHARDSON, Rochester, and Joseph STANSBURY, Danville, Ill.; six sisters, Mrs. Ralph (Alice) LIMING, Logansport, and Mrs. Mable MILLER, Mrs. Harvey (Carmine) PACKARD, Mrs. John (Frances) SLAYBAUGH, Mrs. Virgil (Norma Jean) WAGONER and Mrs. Oscar (Helen) CARR, all of Rochester, and numerous nieces and nephews.
