LANGFORD Funeral At Wilson Avenue
Joseph W. LANGFORD, 78, resident of 1240 Chestnut, died at 2:40 p.m. Friday in an Abilene hospital after an illness of six or seven months.
Funeral will be at 4 p.m. today in the Wilson Avenue Church of Christ with Tommie WILLIAMS and Hollis SWAFFORD officiating. Burial in Cedar Hill will be directed by Willott's funeral home.
Pallbearers will be J. M. HUDDLESTON, Obie CAMPBELL, Jewel SWAFFORD, Joe DUKE, Darrell WESTMORELAND and Fred NEWMAN.
Surviving Mr. LANGFORD are his wife, Mrs. Ellen LANGFORD; five daughters, Mrs. W. T. TALLEY of Shep; Mrs. E. C. DOSSETT of Plainview, Mrs. E. H. FNCH, Mrs. Walter JONES and Mrs. C. M. NICHOLS, all of Abilene; a son, Fred LANGFORD, stationed in England with the Armed forces; a brother, J. H. LANGFORD of Pampa; Mrs. Emmie STEELE of Muskogee, Okla.; 15 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
