The funeral service for Sr. of Paris will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Watson Funeral Home in Eldorado, IL.
Clevie Bell will officiate. Burial will be in Lindale Cemetery in Eldorado.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday and after 8 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home in Eldorado.
McEvoy Funeral Home handled local arrangements.
Henson, 71, died Wednesday, April 1, 2009, at Henry County Medical Center.
His wife, Ruby M. Staffey Henson, survives. They were married on Oct. 13, 2005.
Born Nov. 8, 1937, in Alton, Ill., he was a son of the late Bert A. and Emma1 Hartman Henson.
Henson retired as an auto mechanic in Illinois. He was a Baptist.
He also leaves two daughters: Melinda K. McKernan of Eldorado and Angela M. Rice of Paris; three sons: Everett Henson Jr. of Eldorado, Aaron W. Henson of Carson, Calif., and Arnold L. Henson of Harrisburg, Ill.;
Three stepsons: Clint Riddle of West Frankfort, Ill., Mark Riddle of Canton, Ill., and Carl Rogers of Eldorado; two brothers: Charley and Paul Henson, both of Delaware; and 19 grandchildren.
He also was preceded in death by three sisters; and three brothers.
