Funeral for Ethel Speegle, 95, of Tuscumbia will be Thursday, Feb. 26, 2004, at 2 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home Chapel with John D. Speegle officiating.

Burial will be in Providence Cemetery in Town Creek. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Speegle died Sunday, Feb. 22, 2004, at her residence. She was born Sept. 4, 1908, to Jesse Bradford and Lucy Jane Jeffreys Bradford. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, John D. "Fad" Speegle; and two sons, Windal Speegle and Tommy Speegle.

Survivors include two sons, Tharon Speegle of Hartselle and John D. Speegle of Germany; five daughters, Jewel Goss of Cullman, Sadie Robertson of Phenix City, Nancy Smith of West Blockton, Juanita McSherdon of Hanceville and Wanda Harris of Tuscumbia; 23 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
