Last rites were held Saturday for Mrs. Cora Williamson, 67, who passed away at her late home on Marion Street Friday, February 7. Rev. L.W. Hart officiated at the service from the Baptist Church with interment in the City Cemetery, McConnell-Service directing.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Eddie Owens, Athens, Mrs. Belle Smith, Athens, Mrs. Ollie Sanders, Detroit, Mrs. Daisy Knight, Graniteville, SC; two sons, James Edward Spencer, Huntsville and Brown Spencer, Detroit; two sisters, two brothers, James Taylor and Ezekiel Taylor, Texas; 22 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
