Mrs. Ella F. Averitt died in the home of her daughter Mrs. M.D. Camp near Harristown Friday. Death was due to a complication of diseases and age. She was a charter member of the Christian church in Harristown becoming a member in 1856.
She was born near Belleville,Ill,Jan.2,1833 and was 88 years of age. She came to Macon county with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Abraham Eyman in 1856 and settled near Harristown where they made the family home for 65 years.
She leaves her daughter Mrs. Camp, son, H.P. Averitt of Mexico, Mo, brother Jerome Eyman, Harristown.
Funeral services will be Sunday with burial in Harristown cemetery.
