Mr. Cornwell died at 9:40 a.m. Thursday, April 2, 2009, at his residence. He was a retired truck driver, veteran of the U.S. Air Force and member of Christian Fellowship Church.
He is survived by two daughters, Katrina Cornwell and Melody Timmons, both of Benton; one son, Stanley Cornwell of Benton; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jo Cornwell; one daughter, Mignon Borders; one brother, J.W. Cornwell and one sister, Roberta Cornwell.
His parents were Loyd and Vida Cornwell.
