The funeral of Frank DeWayne Cook, 23, World War Veteran and former resident of the East Side will be held in Hoeflinger's Funeral Home, Second and Platt Streets at 10 a.m. Tuesday and burial will be in Willow Cemetery. The body will arrive at 6 a.m. Tuesday from the home of his parents Mr. and Mrs. Frank Cook of Rochester, Pennsylvania. Death occured January 15th as a result of a bullet wound received in service when at the front he was shot through the body. The bullet penetrating one kidney. The bullet could not be removed and this is thought to have caused his death. Besides his parents he is survived by a brother and a sister.
