Carl Abbott is my father, he was born in welch Oklahoma. He was born on a farm to Bonnie Mae Poe ( abbott) and Herman Edward Abbott ( they are both burried in fairview cemetery in Vinita Oklahoma. He has two brothers Richard, Leon and one sister Thelma all of vinita Oklahoma. Carl served in WW2 and married Rose Marie and they had one son LeRoy who died at birth he is also burried at Fairview. They were divorced and carl married Betty Lou Goins of Vinita on Dec 24 1946. They had 3 children Curtiss aug 1947, sharon sept 1948 and carl Douglas Oct 1949. Curtiss has one son Michael sharon has 3 children, patricia, bobby jr and gary nelson Copeland, carl has two children Keith and amy.As of april 2009 he has 7 grandchildren and one great grand son.
Carl worked for Ford Motor Company then went to work for himself in 1980's for Spiral scales. He loved to Golf and go to the casino's. He is missed everyday we all love him and know that he is with God. He was a deacon in his church Norwalk Missonary Baptist church of Norwalk Ca.
