Funeral services for T.F. Henderson, Sr., 64, retired construction foreman who died yesterday morning at his home in Whitney following a brief illness, will be conducted at 4 o'clock this afternoon at the Whitney Baptist Church by the Rev. Joe W. Bishop, the Rev. W.A. Horn, the Rev. S.A. Merritt and the Rev. A.P. Jones. Internment will be in Whitney cemetery, and sons will serve as pallbearers. Mr. Henderson was a life-long resident of Spartanburg. He was the son of John J. and Adelaide Griffin Henderson. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Cora Foster Henderson; seven sons, T.F., Jr., James, Charles, Carlisle and Billy Henderson of Whitney, Horace Henderson of Beaumont and Sergt. Albert E. Henderson of Camp Davis, NC; four daughters, Mrs. Hazel Cook of Asheville, NC, Adelaid Cromer, and Miss Cora D. and Louise Henderson of Whitney and nine grandchildren. Arrangements are in charge of the J.F. Floyd mortuary.
