Fred was the first of twelve children born to James Earl Alberts and Phalby Sara Cooper. He like his eleven sisters and brothers grew up in Central Texas on the peanut farm owned by his parents. All twelve children helped on the peanut farm. Alberts' peanuts and peanut brittle were famous all around the centarl Texas area. He never married and had no children. He was preceded in death by his brother Morty Buster Alberts. He leaves to mourn his passing, his parents, James and Phalby Alberts, his brothers, James Jr., Chatman, Dan, Moses, Henry, Amos, and sisters Mary, Ursula, Minerva, and Priscilla and many neices, nephews, cousins, and friends.
