FAIRBURY - The Funeral for Miss Effie Hines, Pontiac, who died Monday evening at St. James Hospital, Pontiac, will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Cook Funeral Home with the Rev. William York officiating. Burial will be in Passwater Cemetery, near Heyworth.
Miss Hines was born April 9, 1880, near Holder, a daughter of William and Sophia Lebeau Hines.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister and five brothers.
She had lived southeast of here on a farm for a number of years before moving to Fairbury. Eight years ago she moved to Pontiac.
