Edna G. Thompson of Coalport died Saturday, December 5, 1970 in Miners Hospital, Spangler. Born October 18, 1895 in Pa., daughter of William and Amanda (Boring) Keith, she wed Elmer Thompson who died in 1959. Surviving are 8 children: Frances, Wilber , George, Thomas , Robert, Boyd, Mrs Kathleen Maroni, and Mrs Alberta Wheeler; 29 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and three sisters: Mrs Josephine Shrock, Mrs Mabel Laing, and Mrs Pearl Adams. Bell Funeral Home, Coalport, is handling arrangements. (Altoona Mirror, Monday December 7, 1970)
