Oscar Allen Hanna, 70, of Blakeslee, died Friday in the Veterans Administration
Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre. He was the husband of the late Hilda Hanna.
He was a self-employed carpenter for more than 40 years in the Blakeslee area.
Born in Blakeslee, he was a son of the late Irvin and Fannie (Phillips) Hanna.
He was a member of the Blakeslee United Methodist Church.
He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving with the 100th Infantry Division.
Survivors: Sisters, Katherine Knowles and Eleanor Knowles, both of Blakeslee, and
brother, John of White Have, Luzerne County.
Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday in the church. No calling hours. Arrangements, Kresge Funeral Home,
Brodheadsville.
