Helen Christina (Geiger) Barkmeier
Helen C. Barkmeier, 89, of Exeter, Nebraska died Friday, November 9, 2001 in Exeter.
She was born July 21, 1912, the daughter of Peter and Dora (Noel) Geiger, at Exeter, Nebraska.
Survivors include her son, Richard (Kathy) Barkmeier of Lincoln; daughter Betty Jean Russell of Bennet; brother Arnie (Marion) Geiger of Exeter; sister Francis Ekeler of Exeter; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A rosary service was held at the Farmer and Son Funeral Home in Exeter at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, November 12. Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 13, at St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Exeter. Graveside services were at the Exeter Cemetery, with Father Kenneth Borowiak officiating.
