Graham Rogers, 90, of Waynesville, was the son of the late James Hardy and Essie Noland Rogers. He was a 1939 graduate of Fines Creek High School where he played basketball and won the Haywood County Basketball championship. He was fond of beekeeping and retired from farming. He was a member of the Elizabeth Chapel Church for 50 years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Mark Rogers, three brothers and three sisters.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Flora Fish Rogers; three sons: Joe Rogers of Waynesville, Dean Rogers and wife, Judy, of Canton, Kenneth Rogers and wife, Angie of Sylva; one daughter, Sharon Rogers Moffitt and her husband, Brian, of Statesville; seven Grandchildren, Steven Rogers of Clyde, Lesia Burgess of Waynesville; Julie Watts of Pt. Pleasent,W.Va., Jeremy Rogers of Waynesville, Caleb Rogers of Clyde, Brad Moffitt of Statesville, and Christy Fox of Statesville; 10 Great Grandchildren, Rebecca Rogers, Jesse Rogers, Racheal Rogers, Nikki Summey, Joshua Watts, Justin Watts, Mark Rogers, Jaden Fox, Trent Fox, and Maddy Moffitt, and one sister, Laura Rose Gunter of Waynesville.
