Isaac N. Bnting, oldest son of George and Eliza Bunting, was born April 10, 1844, and died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. E.P. Flowers, at Huron South Dakota, February 7th, 1927, aged 89 years, 9 months and 27 days.
. When nine years of age he followed an ox team with his parents from their home in Michigan, landing in Marian County Iowa.
. December 25th, 1864, he was married to Rebecca Ann Runyan who was his companion and helper for more than fifty-two years.
. In the year 1864 he moved to Hickory county, Missouri, where he lived for two years, coming to Page county in 1868 where he continued to reside until four years ago when he went to live with his daughter.
. To the above union was born four sons and one daughter -- William N., George W., John F., James E., and Ruth Maydelie, all living but John F. who died when three years of age. There are also fifteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
. For more than thirty years the deceased was a resident of Coin, serving as lamp-lighter, night watchman and marshall much of the time, and while this is now only memory we hope they are pleasant memories.
