This is my dad, he was born in Sparta, TN, the youngest of 10 children. He married and had a son, Earbie Lee, and then married again, to my mother, Helen Ferrell. It is said he used to watch her walk to school every day.
He retired from Ford Motor Co, Brookpark, 0hio in 1985, and died from osteogenic sarcoma, a deadly form of bone cancer, on February 17, 1986,
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Helen C. Myers; his children, Earbie Lee Myers, Kenneth Myers, Daphena Madaris, Karen Welty, David Alan Myers and Rebecca Clemency. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Jason Myers, Steven Snezek, Kenneth Myers, Jr., Melissa Wilson, Krista Velez, Philip Scarbrough, Ryan W. Myers-Haas, Robert Clemency, Evan Myers, LeeAnn Myers,and Krysstoffer Myers, and his great grandchildren, Darius, Dasia and Makayla Myers, Kayla, Madison and Christian Wilson, Andre Velez, Mariah Myers and Olivia Myers, all of whom where born after his passing.
He never met a stranger and everyone we knew loved him, at his services there were so many people they had to open all the rooms at the funeral home.
