John Milton Warren, 76, died at his home near Parnell on April 3, 1933 after a week's illness. Funeral services were held in the Parnell Church with burial in Maple Grove Cemetery.
He was born in Farmer City on October 1, 1856 the s/o Teighman and Hettie Warren and died at the age of 76 years, 5 months and 22 days. On November 24, 1881 the marriage of Mr. Warren and Miss Ida Scott took place in Rutledge Township. Mrs. Warren preceded her husband in death. Two children, Corda Warren and Mrs. John Burnett, both of Farmer City, are left to mourn their father's passing. Two brothers, Tom and Charley, preceded him in death and one brother, Ed and a grandson survive.
Pallbearers were Walter Warren, Clyde Warren, Homer Warren, Wilby Warren, Scott Dawson and Noble Dawson. Mrs. Ethel Russell, Mrs. Edna Sparrow and Fern Denison and Irene Dawson were the flowerbearers.
