Pat was the daughter of Vernon Jobe and Dorothy Green Jobe. She was divorced from James Perry Knight, who preceeded her in death. She has a daughter, Candy Jo Dyer, a grandson, David Dyer Jr. and Amy Dyer. A son, James Vernon Long, who preceeded her in death. She also has four sisters, Sarah Sullivan of Cameron, Mo., Barbara Knight of Tempe, AZ, Neleta White of Indep., Mo. and Joyce Steinwinder, deceased. Two brothers, Richard Jobe of Indep., Mo. and Willard Jobe, Deceased.
Pat suffered a stroke in January, 1999. She was a resident of the Cameron Nursing and Care Center in Cammeron until her death. In her early years Pat was a Gospel singer and traveled with Nancy Harmon and the Jubilaires Trio. In her later years she was a Home Care nurse.
