Luther Orem Moore (1885–1951), of Satsuma, died Saturday afternoon in a local hospital following a long illness.
Funeral services will be held at the Baker Cemetery today was 4 p.m. with Rev. T. H. Moody officiating. Interment will be made under the direction of W. Carl Davis & Son.
The deceased was born in East Texas Oct. 8, 1885 and for many years he was an abstractor. He retired five years ago on account of ill health and moved to Satsuma where he has made his home since.
Surviving is the widow, Mrs. L. O. Moore, Satsuma; stepson, Paul C. Dunaway, Welaka; stepdaughters, Mrs. H. F. Huffar, Attalia, Ala., and Mrs. Clem Rankins, Decherd, Tenn.; and two grandchildren. (Palatka Daily News Obituary did Monday, 2 Apr 1951.)
