PRICE - William Arley Atwood, age 87, passed away March 20, 2001 in Price.
He was born Dec. 2, 1913 in Cleveland, to William Stephen and Minnie Maryanne Hansen (Richards) Atwood.
He married Mae Harshbarger June 24, 1946 in Elmo, later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ where he served as a High Priest.
He worked for U.S. Fuel at Hiawatha for over 31 years and was a member of the UMWA.
He always had a deep love for the outdoors.
He is survived by children, Stanley (Gloria) Atwood, Phoenix; Verlon Atwood, Joyce (Irvin) Gagon; Leona Atwood, all of Price; and four grandchildren. Preceded in death by wife, parents, one sister, one half sister and two half brothers.
Funeral services were March 23 in the Price LDS Stake Center.
Friends called at Fausett Mortuary in Price Burial was in the Cleveland Cemetery.
