On April 17, 2016, the people of Leipzig honored Raymond by renaming a street nearby the apartment building, Jahnallee 61, as "Bowmanstraße", hanging a plaque on the exterior of the building, and opening an exhibition room inside. The exhibition room includes some Robert Capa photographs taken in Leipzig and the most famous one taken of Raymond entitled, "The Last Man to Die".
