The Neihart Herald (MT), 7 Aug 1891
We are written the sad death of the six-year-old son of George B. Swan, Superintendent of Public Instruction in Cascade county and residing near Kibby. On Aug. 4, the child was riding on a load of hay when the load overturned, burying the boy beneath the hay. He was quickly uncovered, but when found was still in death. A large bruise on his breast from a rock was probably the cause of his death. Mr. and Mrs. Swan are known far and wide.
