Warren J. Sala of Pueblo died May 22, 1991, at the age of 82 at University Park Care Center, Pueblo. He was born June 6, 1908, in Potoskey, Mich. to Joseph Warren and Nancy (Wise) Sala. Mr. Sala was disabled at the time of his death.
He was a life member of Church of The Brethren, Rocky Ford and a member of the U.S. Army during Wolrd War II. Mr. Sala never married.
He is survived by three sisters: Freeda Spurlock, Dora Geer and Ida Fancher, all of Canon City.
He was preceded in death by five brothers.
Cremation, Almont Crematory. Private interment at a later date.

Warren Joseph Sala was well loved by his family. His experiences in WWII left him a changed man, and he neither married nor had children. He lived in a tiny apartment on B Street, off Union, in Pueblo, Colorado. Prior to being renovated, this area was extraordinarily run down, but he lived there cheaply and quietly alone. His sisters, Dora, Freeda, and Ida, would frequently travel from Canon City, Colorado to Pueblo, Colorado to check on him and ensure his needs were being met, and to bring him special baked goodies, and handmade items. The sisters ensured he was buried next to his father in Idaho when he passed on.
