Survived by his wife Mrs Carherine Shaner children as follows
Edward,William,and Mrs Frank Dougal of Juniata John and Elmer Shaner
Of Altoona.
Member of the Methodist Church
Funerial service will take place at 2 o'clock Fri Afternoon at the home
Interment at Grandview Cemetery.

His death certificate was proff that the Funeral home records are wrong he was born 1849 and died at aged 74.
There seems to be a few errors in his obit
The year that was mentioned of his birth 1849 is not correct
I got ahold of the funeral home to verify this and they said he was born 1856.
Also the obit read he was aged 74 yrs.
He was 67 yrs old at his Death
Also it mentioned that Frank Dougals name was William I corrected that here.

His Mother is Magdalena Shaner Died May 22 1891 Possibly buried at Adamsburgh Westmoreland County PA He had a sister Susanna Elizabeth (Shaner) Lacy.

His Father is William Shaner form Sewickley Westmoreland County
Mother is Magdalena UNK Name This is what I am looking for her last name.
