Judith Williams was born Judith Willet(t) or (s) in 1806 or 1804 to Micajah (1753-1849) and Judith (Cranmer, 1755-BEF 1828) Willets in New York, probably Ontario County. Since her mother was 51 or 49 at the time of her birth, it is possible she was a granddaughter instead. In 1834 the family moved to Lenawee County, MI. Before 1834 Judith married Samuel Williams of Canada (1804-April 16, 1882).
The death date and age of death (59) on this memorial is based on a book of cemetery inscriptions of Lenawee County (see photo, Adrian Public Library, also on line at https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CSBG-Q337-6?i=557&cat=291641). The stone is missing. The two birth years are based on (1804) cemetery record and (1806) censuses.
