Passed Away
Galesville Independent.
H. M. Sacia[sic], aged 77, died at his home in the Little Tamarac Monday, October 23, 11 a. m. Mr. Sacia had been suffering from a severe attack of la grippe for many weeks, which together with old age reulted in his death. Deceased was a pioneer of La Crosse county, making his home at Stevenstown for many years. This however was not the Stevenstown of the present day, but a town now extinct, a few miles further down the river which gained considerable notoriety in early days. Mr. Sacia faithfully served his country during the rebellion. A grown up family survives him. The remains were interred in the Stevenstown cemetery.
