BRIDGE CITY - Doris Evelyn Mouchette Meiss, 75, of Bridge City, Texas passed away on Saturday morning at Park Place Medical Center in Port Arthur.
She was born in Birmingham, Alabama on April 19, 1929 to Robert Mouchette and Bessie Irene Peach. She was a longtime resident of Port Arthur before moving to Bridge City.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, George W. Meiss.
Burial of her ashes will be at 11:00 A.M. Friday, December 3, 2004 at Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Clayton Thompson Funeral Directors.
She is survived by her two sisters, Ruth Pavia of Bridge City, Texas and Mae M. Begley of Groves, Texas; her brother, James Mouchette of Groves, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews.
