Fern Logan 83, Greenwood, passed away April 3, 2009. She was born March 27, 1926 at Beech Grove to the late John and Mable Crane Moore. Fern married Glenn R. Logan January 19, 1946 at Beech Grove, who preceded her in death April 30, 2008. Her survivors include daughter Glenda (Arnold S. "Bucky") Kroger, Ft. Wayne; son Russell "Rusty" (Janet) Logan, Madison, AL; grandchildren Scott (Karen) Kroger, Indianapolis, Stacy Ross, Columbia City, Stephanie Logan, Nashville, TN, and David Logan, Madison, AL; seven great grandchildren; a great great granddaughter; sisters Lois (Norman) Dougherty, Beech Grove and adopted family Jerry and Carla England and their children Eddie and Jerry Jr. England and four great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by grandchildren Ann Kroger, Mary Kroger, and Robert Logan; great grandson Dakota Kroger; sisters Jerry DeBoer and Margaret Shular; brothers Raymond and Paul Moore. Fern was a member of Greenwood Christian Church and Episol Lamba Sorority. She had been employed several years at Sears Roebuck Greenwood as a sales associate and previously as a receptionist at Nolan's Hair Fashion Salon. Services will be 10:30 AM, Tuesday, April 7 at Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center with visitation 4:00 – 8:00 PM, Monday, April 6 at the mortuary. Entombment will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
