The Late C. L. LEHNDORF On Monday afternoon Mr Christian L. Lehndorf, the father of the County Engineer, finished his earthly course, at the ripe old age of eighty-two. Mr Lehndorf was one of the early Scandinavian settlers of the Norsewood district, but for many years resided in the Otawhao Road, Kumeroa. Some time since he removed to Woodville to be bear his son and has since lived a very quiet and retired life. For some time past his health has been failing and it could be seen that his end was approaching. He has left a widow and several children, grown up and married, to mourn him.

The death occurred at Woodville on Monday afternoon of Mr Christian L. Lehndorf, father of the County Engineer, at the ripe old age of eighty-two. Mr Lehndorf was one of the early Scandinavian settlers of the Norsewood district, but for many years resided in the Otawhao road, Kumeroa.
