Susanna Penrod was the third child born to David Israel Penrod and Cynthia Ann Smith. She was born in Pinetop, Arizona on July 4, 1883.
Susanna was married three times. Her husbands were Edward Hastings, George Wallace, and Edmond (Albert?) Adams.
Susanna passed away on April 15, 1970.

Mrs. Sue A. (Susie) Wallace, 87, died last Wednesday at Gila General Hospital.
Services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Globe.
Burial was in the Rest Haven Section of Pinal Cemetery.
Mrs. Wallace was born in Pahreah, Utah, coming to Arizona with her family when she was Eight
years old.
Mrs. Wallace was a member of the Penrod Family; one of first Mormon settlers in Pinetop Arizona. She was postmistress at Fort Apache when the Active U.S. Calvary was present. She was active in Missionary work for the LDS Church.
Survivor's include her husband George E. Wallace of Globe, one son Col. George Hastings of Phoenix and one daughter, Mrs. Lillian Sue Rose of Globe.
