Amburn, Edith Fisk –
Edith Fisk was born April 14, 1879, at Pella, Iowa. The daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Fisk. She attended the public schools at Pella and also took work at Central college located at Pella.

During her youth, she united with the Baptist church of her home town. She has also been a long time member of the Order of Eastern Star.

On December 20, 1909 she was united in marriage to Mr. Frank Amburn, and to this union were born four children. One died in infancy. The three children surviving the death of their mother are: Mrs. Harley Austin of Geneva, Wis., Mrs. Case Van Arkel of Pella, Iowa; Mrs. Homer Teatsworth of Elkhorn, Wis. There are also five grandchildren: Billy Joe Austin, Susan Austin and Patricia Ann Teatsworth, Richard Lee Teatsworth, Catherine Mae Teatsworth. Two sisters also survive: Mrs. Emma Clutter of Pukwana, S. D.; Mrs. Bell Forrest of Sheridan, Wyoming.

Mrs. Frank Amburn passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Van Arkel in Pella, Iowa, aged 70 years and 23 days.
Interment will be in the Lenox cemetery.

MRS. FRANK AMBURN
Edith Fisk was born April 14th, 1879 at Pella, Iowa, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Fisk. She passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Case Van Arkel Saturday, May 7th, 1949 at the age of 70 years and 23 days.

She is survived by her husband and three daughters, Mrs. Harley Austin of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, Mrs. Case Van Arkel, Pella and Mrs. Homer Teatsworth of Elkhorn, Wisconsin, two sisters, Mrs. Bell Forest (Forrest) of Sheridan, Wyoming and Mrs. Emma Clutter of Pukwana, South Dakota and by five grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 10th, 1949 at 2:00 p.m. at the O. P. Arnold Funeral Home in Lenox, Iowa. Reverend Merwin Coad officiating. Interment was in the Lenox cemetery.
