She leaves behind her husband of 44 years, Dale, their son, Douglas Ward, of whom she was so proud, and two grand children, Kelsey and Jacob Ward, whom she loved dearly.
She is also survived by her mother, Dorothy Moore, and a close cousin, Robert Davis, also of Fithian. She is also survived by a close cousin Lonie (Tim) Collins and their daughter Robin of Harrisonburg, Ohio, and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
In 1964 Diana and her future husband Dale Ward started building their dream home in Fithian, where they lived their entire life together. On July 31, 1965 they were married. Three years later their oldest son Darren was born and 18 months after that their son Douglas was born.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Moore, and two brothers, Danny Moore and Larry Moore and his wife Claudette, her mother-in-law and father-in-law Charles and Maxine Ward , and a brother-in-law, Jim Ward.
At the young age of 13 Diana became well known in the community as an expert female trap shooter, having won many awards. After leaving high school Diana went on to become a licensed beautician and opened a shop in Fithian.
