Sarah "Sadie" Robertson was born to an unknown Montgomery and Mary Waddell Peace Montgomery Albert. She grew up in Rathdrum before marrying Newton J. Robertson. Newton died in 1928. She and Newton ran a restaurant in Spokane. Sadie was a member of the Methodist Church, LaMere Mothers Club, Sr. Citizens Club, and the Friendship Birthday Club. Her children were: Bonnie, Patricia, Merle, Opal, Bette, William and George.
