Betty Jane Ward Wilkins, 82, of Northeast Kansas City, passed away January 1, 2022, at North Kansas City Hospital.

Betty was born February 16, 1939, near Fristoe, MO, the youngest of three children of Oliver and Mary Jewell (Bird) Stull. She graduated from Warsaw (MO) High School. Betty was united in marriage to Roy L. Ward and he preceded her in death in 1992. She was then married to Arley A. Wilkins who survives in the home.

Along with her parents Oliver and Jewell, and first husband Roy Ward, Betty was preceded in death by her sister, Vernice Ward and husband George, and an infant daughter, Kathy Ward.

Survivors include her husband, Arley; son, Randy Ward (Myrna); step-sons, Art "Tom" Wilkins (Cindy) and David Wilkins; grandchildren, Mindi Finke (Greg), Marti Ward and Jay Wilkins (Nicki); great-grandchildren, Mya, Tripp, Rondo, Tate, Ronasia, Roniqui, Mason and Connor; brother, Jack Stull (Shirley); nephews and nieces, Jerry Ward (Dianna), Jack Stull, Jr. (Carol), Debbie Stowe (Drew) and Vanessa Maddux (Brian) and their families.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, January 9, at Spring Branch Cemetery, Avery, MO.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Spring Branch Cemetery for care and maintenance.
