HERMITAGE — Doris Mae Ashcraft, 83, of Hermitage died Tuesday at the Medical Center of South Arkansas at El Dorado.
She was born July 1, 1923, at Sumpter, a daughter of the late Andrew Jackson Braswell and Ester Mae Wilson Braswell.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Martins Chapel United Methodist Church.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Elbert Braswell, J.E. Braswell, Leo Braswell; and a son, Brady.
Survivors include her husband, Louie Edward Ashcraft, whom she married Dec. 15, 1945, in Bradley County; one son, Thomas Edward Ashcraft of Hermitage; one daughter, Mary Jane Mann of Hermitage; one brother, Bobby Glenn Braswell of Walnut, Miss.; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and three step-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Frazer's Funeral Home of Warren. Burial will be in Outlaw Cemetery at Sumpter.
