Sarah Margaret Gover Faulkner, 85 years of age, departed this life on Sunday, March 29th, 2009.
Sarah was born in Somerset, Kentucky on July 25th, 1923, daughter of the late Clarence and Florence Goff Faulkner. She was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church.
Sarah was survived by two sons, Gary D. (and Sarah) Faulkner of Lexington, Kentucky and Dwight (and Joyce) Faulkner of Somerset, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Wesley (and Nicole) Wheeldon of Columbus, Indiana, Natasha (and Jason) Stevens of Somerset, Kentucky, and Autumn (and Justin) Richardson of Somerset, Kentucky; three great grandchildren, Olivia Stevens, Owen Stevens, and Gabriella Wheeldon; one brother, Arthur (and Mary Ann) Gover of Somerset, Kentucky; a special caregiver, Brenda Henderson and the following special friends, Patricia and Ernesto; and a host of other relatives and friends who mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Faulkner and Florence Faulkner; and her husband, Gleason Gibbs Faulkner, who departed this life on October 10th, 2002.
Visitations were held from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 31st, 2009 at the Pulaski Funeral Home in Somerset, Kentucky.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 1st, 2009 in the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. Don Jones and Rev. Danny Pace officiating.
Burial followed in the Somerset City Cemetery in Pulaski County, Kentucky.
