Obituary
Mrs. Louise Barber Skipper, Clifton, 86, a resident of Brunswick, died Wednesday 10/5/11 in the Hospice of the Golden Isles in Brunswick.
Mrs. Clifton was a native of Jacksonville, Florida and had been a resident of Glynn County for the past 65 years. She was a Homemaker and was a member of the Sterling Church of God of Prophecy. She loved her Lord and Savior.
Mrs. Clifton was preceded in death by her husband, James Clifton and her parents, Sherman B. and Ruby Thelma Skipper.
Survivors are her two sons, Otis Clifton of Brunswick and David B. Clifton of Atlanta, Ga., a brother, W. A. Skipper of Brunswick and a sister, Mary "Bunny "Jackson of Brunswick, a granddaughter, Beth Clifton of Brunswick, and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs.Clifton Home Going Service will be held at 11 A.M. Saturday 10/8/11 in the Chapel of the Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. J. W. Griffin and Rev. Danny Webster officiating. Interment will follow in Palmetto Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be: Kelly Bare, Erwin Skipper, Jonathan Pennington, Wallace Bare, Jr., Trey Holley and Daniel Ryle. Honorary pallbearers will be: Men's Sunday School Class of the Sterling Church of God of Prophecy
The family request in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the Hospice of the Golden Isles, 1692 Glynco Parkway, Brunswick, Ga., 31525. The family will receive friends in the Funeral Home from 6 to 8 P.M. Friday.
