Ida Maria Hollingsworth was born September 8, 1878, at Florence (now Omaha), Douglas, Nebraska, to Elam and Martha Mae Keetch Hollingsworth.

The Hollingsworth family came to the Preston, Idaho area in 1879, where Ida was raised and attended school.
She married Parley Pashure Stokes, October 12, 1898, in the Logan,LDS Temple.

While living in Preston, Parley and Ida had five children, 2 daughters, and 3 sons. The family moved to Acequia, Idaho in the fall of 1916 and farmed in the Acequia and Declo areas before moving to Rupert.

Parley died in October 1951.

Ida, joined her eternal companion on July 29, 1962, and was laid to rest beside him in the Rupert Cemetery.
