Obit: Funeral services for Mrs. Lula Ellen Goff, age 57, who died suddenly Sunday morning at 12:25 o'clock, will be held this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the residence, 503 Gentry street. The Rev. H.B. Farrell, of the Baptist church, will officiate and burial will be made in the Kilmore cemetery.
Mrs. Goff suffered a stroke of paralysis Saturday evening and lived only a short time. She was the daughter of John and Christian Patrick, and was born in Clinton County March 2, 1868. She was a life long member of the Methodist Church.
She was united in marriage in 1888 to James Cahoon, who died twenty-five years ago. Later she married Curt Goff, who died in 1920.
Surviving are two children, Mrs. Blanche Armstrong of Findley, Ohio and Orus Cahoon of Frankfort. Three grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Grace Humes; two brothers, William and Clinton Patrick, all of Frankfort also survive.
Mrs. Goff had lived all her life in Clinton County. She was a devoted mother to her children and home and was a highly respected woman and enjoyed a wide acquaintance of friends who were grieved to hear of her sudden death.
