GRANT - At Masterton Road, on Thursday, 19th February, James Grant; aged 79 years.
We deeply regret to record the death of Mr James Grant, an old and highly respected resident of Masterton Road. Though never taking an active part in public affairs, Mr Grant was a much valued settler of the district. He was the father of Mr James Grant, jnr, of Masterton Road. The funeral will take place to-morrow at one o'clock.
