Obituary
The death occurred at her residence in Bloomfield road, Woodville, at an early hour yesterday morning, of a very old and highly respected resident, in the person of Mrs Ann Gordon. The deceased lady was the widow of the late Mr Alexander Gordon who predeceased her by eight years and had resided in the district for over half a century. She had reached the advanced age of 84 years and passed away suddenly from heart failure. The late Mr Gordon was one of the contractors for the erection of Ngawapurua railway bridge. The deceased lady is survived by a grown up family and was living with her daughter, Miss Gordon, at the time of her death.
