Josefa Conesa Pecollo, 87, died on Saturday, January 20, 1990 at the Logan Regional Hospital.


She was born April 12, 1902 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, daughter of Juan Pedro and Margarita Gomez Conesa. She married Juan Pecollo in 1923 in Buenos Airies. he died in 1958.


She converted to the LDS Church in 1936 and came to America in 1958. She has lived in Logan and Providence. She enjoyed crocheting afghans, slippers, and baby clothes as a hobby. She served as a branch and stake Relief Society President and as a visiting teacher.


Survived by two sons, Juan Pecollo; Oscar Pecollo, both Buenos Aries; son-in-law, David Rigby, Richmond; daughter, Rosa McCann, Logan; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Emma Rigby and Maria Ester Pecollo.


Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at Allen Hall Mortuary, with President Ronald Bowman conducting. Friends may call on Monday from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to services.
Interment: Providence Cemetery.
