On Monday, March 30, 2009, our beloved son, grandson, and brother, Ryan Leroy Kinman went to be with the Lord. Ryan was born January 8, 1986 in Stephenville, Texas. Ryan attended school in Deming and graduated from Deming High School in 2004. After high school Ryan served in the United States Air Force.
Ryan was blessed with a talent for making people laugh and his broad, cheerful smile would always bring joy into your heart. He loved to tell jokes and was usually joking and kidding the people who were around him. Ryan was baptized in the First Baptist Church where he was involved in the music program with his mother JoLynn. Along with his wonderful sense of humor, he was also blessed with a fine voice and was often heard singing the music which he so loved. Ryan was attending Dona Ana Community College with hopes of one day becoming a teacher.
Ryan's passion in life was cars and trucks, loud fast ones. He would talk about cars for what seemed like an endless amount of time. His knowledge of cars and trucks, which he so dearly loved, was enormous. Ryan also loved racing, especially mud bog and drag racing.
Words are hard to find to express the sorrow felt by loved ones in a time like this. The sadness of our loss is comforted by the thought that Ryan has probably already convinced the Lord to allow him to have a loud, fast car or truck and is on a track somewhere in Heaven.
Ryan is survived by his parents, JoLynn and William Kinman; his brother Connor Kinman all of Deming; grandmothers, Mary Jo O'Neal and Lorene Kinman of Deming; uncle, David Kinman of Deming; Janelle and Rudy Avalos and family of Stephenville, TX; Kaye and Charles Kennedy and family of Las Cruces; and many cousins in New Mexico, Nevada, and Texas. He was preceded in death by his grandfather's, William F. Kinman and Johnnie Leroy Carlton.
