Windel B. Bush , 65, of Liberty, MO, died Wednesday, March 7, 2001, at the Research Medical Center. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, March 10, at the First Assembly of God Church, 101 Forest Ave., Liberty, MO; burial in New
Hope Cemetery, Liberty. Friends may call 7-8:30 p.m. Friday at Church-ArcherPasley Chapel, Liberty. The family suggests memorial contributions to the First Assembly of God Church.
Mr. Bush was born in Richmond, MO, the son of Delbert and Edna Clevenger Bush . He was reared in Kansas City and had lived in Liberty 30 years. Mr. Bush was an electrician and HVAC maintenance worker for the Kansas City Chiefs. He worked at Arrowhead Stadium for 25 years, retiring in 1998. He was a Veteran of the Vietnam period. While in the Army, Mr. Bush was a pistol instructor and coach for the Advanced Marksmanship Unit. He was honored by the Army for his
competitive spirit and his high mental and physical coordination in marksmanship. After his discharge from the Army, Mr. Bush continued his interest in guns and marksmanship. He was a member of the National Rifle Association. He attended the First Assembly of God Church, Liberty. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Karen Bush of the home; a daughter,
Wendy Carter, and a son, Brandon Bush , both of Kansas City; two sisters, Rosalee Self, Wichita, KS, and Judy Gwynn, Holt, Mo; and a special cousin, Bruce Clevenger, Blue Springs, Mo.
