He is the first son of the second family of George Washington(Washingth was not birth name but given by army in war of 1812 when he went so his older brother could harvest his crops) Goforth (1791-1886).
P stands for Preston and not Paul.
Paul was his grandson and his daughter Hattie's son.
Ezekiel is my great grandfather and these facts were told to me by his 2nd daughter Emma in the mid 1960's.
