Mollie Virginia Bass Carter, 80, of Chesterfield, widow of Hubert Elden Carter Jr., went to be with the Lord October 14, 2008.
She is survived by two sons, Elden Eugene Carter and Ronald Hubert Carter and his wife, Lois; daughter, Linda Ann Jarvis and her husband, Gary; brother, Wray Bass; sister, Ruth Elaine Thorpe; devoted caregivers, Margie Wright and Susie Custalow; nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and many other loving family and friends.
Her family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Bliley's-Chippenham, 6900 Hull Street Rd., and where funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday. Interment Dale Memorial Park. She was the ultimate caregiver for others and epitome of strength. She was always devoted to her family and friends and will be greatly missed.
